Vesta Nutra was founded in Indianapolis in 1996 on a premise that still sets the direction of the company: provide high quality products at a competitive price. Thirty years later, that premise has become a portfolio of ingredients, a set of manufacturing capabilities, and a working method that brands rely on when a formulation is harder than it seems. This October, we're bringing that record to SupplySide Global, and we've built our booth around it.
Three Decades of Helping Brands Bring Products to Life
Vesta is one of the few companies that offers complete end-to-end manufacturing and ingredient solutions. Our ecosystem is built on past success but forward-looking.
Many of our innovations have been driven by specific industry challenges. Nattokinase became a core ingredient because brands needed a supply they could build a product line on. Hygroscopic ingredients such as SAMe and NADH pushed us to develop the handling and process controls that keep moisture-sensitive materials stable from our facility to finished product. Work with fucoidan, AnnattoActive™, and DERMALuminese™ widened our marine- and botanical-derived portfolio.
In total, Vesta’s ingredient portfolio spans 40+ ingredients across numerous health categories. These include cognitive support, healthy weight management, joint support, immunity, gut health, and healthy aging. The majority of the line is allergen-free and non-GMO, with Halal and Kosher certifications available across the portfolio. These credentials ensure clean label products for brands formulating for global markets.
Recent innovations offer further opportunities for formulators. Innovation drives Vesta’s growth. LipoQuest®, the company’s proprietary liposomal delivery platform, encapsulates active ingredients to improve stability and absorption. This technology addresses one of the most persistent formulation challenges in the category. For example, our in vitro animal study showing that our liposomal silicon, LipoOrganiSil™, delivers more silicon to cells compared to competitor’s non-liposomal formulations.
ECO₂ Extracts™ applies supercritical CO₂ extraction to deliver clean, solvent-free botanical actives. Together, these platforms give formulators differentiation options that commodity suppliers cannot match. We want buyers and R&D teams to learn about these capacities in Las Vegas.
